Fallen Trooper: George Garo F-Troop is very sad to report that we lost one of our own June 13th in a horrible motorcycle accident. George Garo had just finished a ride with one of our other members and was going home when a young man, who was not paying attention, went across his lane and hit George head on.
Below are comments from friends, not only here, but from other states and countries This is such sad news for us. George was such a sweet person. I have missed seeing him at our meetings. We will keep Tania in our thoughts and prayers. Walt and Jane Kern I am very saddened by this news. George has been a great member of the Goldwing family, and chapter f. George is one of the few people that I would really say numbers as one of my friends. I respected him as a father figure and person. I loved being in his company, either on rides or in social gatherings. Many times and many people have expressed that George was a true gentleman. He was more then that. He was a good spirit , a loving man and husband and father. I really can't describe the amount of loss I feel. I will always remember his kind words, his love of animals ( he was one of the few that Shadow always allowed in the house), his love for motorcycling, and his devotion to his wife and family. Please remember him in all the best ways. Pete Wall It is so nice to read the wonderful things said about George. He was an extremely loving and caring man. I had the pleasure of being in his and Tania's company two weeks ago. Pete Wall and TVH couldn't have said it any better. Pete & Judy were close friends of George & Tania. I know that this is a very difficult time for them as well. George will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Tania, Randy and Family Linda Boyce Tim and I met George many years ago. Being a retired officer, they both had
much in common. We are very sorry and saddened to hear of this loss. Tim
