Trooper Frank Gibson
Frank joined GWRRA in February 1982. Frank started as a member of Chapter D and maintained that active participation while also becoming a fixture in the early years of F-Troop.
Frank was a Charter member of Chapter F and in the early days of F Troop would do the “Boys Only” trip to Americade, where the group would stay 8 in the room! He was a permanent fixture at our Sunday morning meetings. When the Chapter needed a new meeting place when we outgrew the Howell Diner, Frank came through and was able to connect us with Old Country Buffett. Frank would go on chapter visits with the group he would ride along always quiet on the radio. We later found out he had a problem with his CB, Pete Wall & Breadman fixed it and Frank “chatted” all the way to Chapter E’s meeting place. Frank was also a regular on Chapter D’s Mothers Day Ride to Atlantic City. His wife Bea didn’t ride so he drove her every year we had the ride, and they enjoyed the buffett and gambling with all of us. Frank was a big supporter of F Troop at Motorcycle night in Freehold and could be seen wearing his red shirt.
